Recently, China Central Television (CCTV) featured the innovative practices of Fujian-Ningxia paired assistance, with Teching Aviation’s TX-G500 autogyro UAV project prominently showcased on CCTV-1 and CCTV-13. Leveraging cutting-edge aviation technology to boost coordinated development between Fujian and Ningxia, the company’s robust technical strength has earned national recognition, empowered industrial collaboration between eastern and western China, and continued to write a touching story of cross-mountain-and-sea partnership in the new era.
 
 
On June 17, the News Live Room program on CCTV-13 aired a special report themed “30 Years of Fujian-Ningxia Coordination”, highlighting new digital achievements delivered through the paired assistance initiative.
On June 24, the Focus Interview program simulcast on CCTV-1 and CCTV-13 ran a special feature titled “Mountains and Seas Join Hands for Mutual Win-Win Development”.

Thirty Years of Fujian-Ningxia Partnership: Sci-Tech Innovation Takes Root in Ningxia’s Mountainous Regions

The Fujian-Ningxia paired assistance program was launched in 1996. Over the past three decades, the Fujian-Ningxia Model has been continuously upgraded, expanding its support scope to digital economy and ecological restoration, emerging as a national benchmark for east-west regional collaboration.
The Liupan Mountains in Ningxia boast abundant cloud water resources, making them a typical research site for orographic cloud studies and weather modification operations. To tackle drought, water shortages and frequent meteorological disasters in mountainous northwest regions, the R&D team of Xiamen Teching Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. set up a research base in Ningxia. Under the guidance of national meteorological experts and in cooperation with the Liupan Mountain Atmospheric Science Field Observation Station, the team carried out special scientific trials on UAV-based weather modification equipment. Via the Fujian-Ningxia coordination channel, Fujian’s aviation technologies have been brought to the frontlines of Ningxia’s mountainous areas.
 
 
In 2025, the project completed 13 flight trials with a cumulative flight duration of 1,202 minutes. Equipped with a full suite of professional airborne gear including meteorological detection sensors and pyrotechnic cloud seeding dispensers, the UAV enables integrated real-time observation and command during operations.
During trials, the UAV repeatedly flew into cold supercooled cloud layers and sustained cross-cloud operations. It transmitted flight tracks and detection data in real time throughout all missions, verifying the aircraft’s anti-icing performance in cold mountainous terrain and the stable operation of the full equipment suite.
 
 
The TX-G500 autogyro is adaptable to complex terrains such as gobi deserts and grasslands with outstanding wind resistance. It has been deployed for regular operations across Ningxia, Xinjiang and other regions.
 

Computing Power as a Bridge: Forging a New Cross-regional Digital Industrial Ecosystem

Under China’s national “East Data, West Computing” strategy, computing power and data resources are linked bidirectionally across thousands of miles. The complete UAV weather modification operation system independently integrated by Teching Aviation supports remote aircraft control and real-time meteorological data collection, while resisting extreme operating environments including level-10 gales and natural icing conditions.
Today, this UAV has been deployed for precipitation enhancement, hail suppression and fog dispersal operations in Ningxia, Xinjiang and other regions, supporting local cloud water resource exploitation and ecological restoration. The capability to remotely monitor, accurately calculate and fully control UAVs thousands of kilometers away is backed by green computing power deployed in Ningxia.
Relying on high-bandwidth dedicated lines connecting Fujian and Ningxia’s intelligent computing centers, the weather modification operation system delivers millisecond-level data transmission with nearly zero latency. It supports real-time remote scheduling and command from the Xiamen headquarters terminal for all operation stations nationwide.
 

Looking Ahead from the Windward Frontier

“Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” This important statement by Xi Jinping Jinping guides the direction of ecological governance. Over thirty years of Fujian-Ningxia coordination, the original aspiration of ecological priority and technology-driven development has never wavered.
Moving forward, Teching Aviation will further deepen industry-university-research collaboration under the Fujian-Ningxia framework: iterate UAV cloud detection and seeding technologies to boost capacity for mountain cloud water utilization and meteorological disaster prevention; summarize mature research experience from Liupan Mountain trials to promote standardized UAV weather modification and ecological restoration solutions across arid northwest regions, reinforcing the ecological security barrier of western China.
What was once barren sandy land has transformed into fertile golden land. Thirty years of profound partnership across mountains and seas have injected fresh momentum into Fujian-Ningxia collaboration through aviation scientific innovation. Rooted firmly in the Fujian-Ningxia cooperation platform, Teching Aviation will keep advancing the low-altitude green industry, safeguard lucid waters and lush mountains beneath the Helan Mountains with UAV technology, and contribute aviation strength to building a beautiful China and advancing coordinated regional development.
